Kathmandu, December 5 — Shares from SY Panel Nepal Limited’s IPO have been credited to investors’ demat accounts. The company completed this step as part of preparations to list its shares on the secondary market through CDS & Clearing Limited.
The company has confirmed that its shares will be listed soon on the secondary market. Prabhu Capital has been appointed as the registrar for the IPO.

SY Panel issued 40,76,156 shares worth Rs. 40 crore 76 lakh 15 thousand 600 to the general public from 19 to 23 Kartik 2082 B.S., and the allocation was completed on 30 Kartik 2082 B.S.
The IPO represented 40% of the company’s issued capital, totaling Rs. 52 crore 32 lakh 54 thousand 800 or 52,32,548 shares for the public.
Beyond the general public allocation:
2,61,629 shares for locals in industry-affected areas
4,97,092 shares for Nepalis working abroad
1,49,127 shares for employees
2,48,546 shares for collective investment funds
After the secondary market listing, only the shares allocated to the general public and Nepalis working abroad will be tradable. Founder shares, shares for locals in affected industries, and collective fund shares will remain locked for three years, six months, and as per regulations, respectively.
Although the IPO was sold at Rs. 100 per share in the primary market, the first trading price in the secondary market will be set by the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) based on the company’s net worth per share. The expected opening price range for trading is approximately Rs. 106.61 to Rs. 319.83 per share.
