During the month of Ashoj, NEPSE listed right shares of only two companies. On Ashoj 7, Rapti Hydro and General Construction Limited listed 61 lakh 27 thousand 938 shares, and Terhathum Power Company Limited listed 40 lakh shares, making a total of 1 crore 1 lakh 27 thousand 938 right shares. Both companies had issued 100% right shares.
The listing process was affected due to the ongoing protest by NEPSE employees since Ashoj 7. The employees have been demanding the resignation of Chairman Hemanta Basyal and CEO Chudamani Chapagain. As the CEO has not been attending the office, and listing agreements require his signature, the process of listing new securities has been delayed.
