Mabilung Energy Limited started trading its shares in the secondary market from Kartik 18. The company had listed a total of 3,858,240 shares — 1,967,710 promoter shares and 1,890,530 public shares — in the market on Kartik 17.
For the first trade, NEPSE had set the price range between Rs. 105.90 and Rs. 317.70 per share. On Tuesday, the company’s first trade happened at the upper limit of Rs. 317.70 during the special pre-opening session. A total of 30 shares were traded at this price. The company’s trading symbol is MABEL.
Mabilung Energy is building the Upper Piluwakhola-3 Hydropower Project in Sankhuwasabha district, with a generation capacity of 4.95 MW. The estimated project cost is Rs. 1.13 billion, and the company has reported that around 97% of the construction work has already been completed.
