Molung Hydropower Company Ltd. issued 22,64,655 units of shares to the public. The company has appointed Sunrise Capital Ltd as an Issue manager for the IPO. Molung Hydropower Project of 7.00 MW capacity was the first hydropower project developed, operated, and managed by the ANAK Hydropower. The Molung Khola Hydropower Project is located in Okhaldhunga district, Sagarmatha Zone in the Eastern Development Region of Nepal. The Molung Khola hydropower project area spreads at Harkapur, Prapcha, and Baruneshwar VDCs of the Okhaldhunga district.
Previously, the hydro company issued 8,02,500 unit shares worth Rs. 8.02 crores to the project-affected locals and 272,850 unit shares to Nepalese citizens working abroad.
Molung Hydropower Company Ltd. was formed on 31st Baishakh 2067 (14 May 2010).
