Kathmandu – Mountain Energy Nepal Limited has announced that it will distribute a total dividend of 21.053% for the fiscal year 2081/82.
According to the decision made by the company’s Board of Directors on Kartik 20, shareholders will receive a 20% bonus share and an additional 1.053% cash dividend to cover tax obligations.
The proposed dividend will be distributed only after it is approved by the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). While the date for the AGM has not yet been finalized, the company has set Mangsir 17 as the book closure date. Shareholders recorded by Mangsir 16 will be eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the dividend.
This year’s payout is higher compared to the previous year when the company had distributed a total of 15.79%, including 15% bonus shares and 0.79% cash dividend.
