Siddhartha Bank to Merge Seven Branches in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Pokhara from Shrawan

Siddhartha Bank Limited is set to merge seven of its branch offices located in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Pokhara to streamline its operations. The bank announced that the integrated banking services from the newly consolidated branches will officially commence on Shrawan 1.

Details of Branch Consolidation

Under the new structural adjustments, three branches within Kathmandu will be integrated into nearby locations. The Kalopul branch will merge with the Chabahil branch, the Kuleshwor branch will join the Kalimati branch, and the Nardevi branch will be integrated into the Putalisadak branch.

For Lalitpur, the bank has decided to merge its Jawalakhel branch into the B and B branch. Meanwhile, in Pokhara, both the Chipledhunga and Buddhachowk branches will be consolidated into the Pokhara Sabhagriha branch. Additionally, the Bagar branch in Pokhara will be merged with the Parsyang branch.

Locker Relocation and Customer Guidelines

Following the merger, all standard banking transactions will run from the newly integrated branches starting from Shrawan 1. The bank has also informed its clients that safe deposit locker services will be relocated to the respective merged branches.

Siddhartha Bank has requested its clients who have lockers in the affected branches to retrieve any fragile or breakable items by Ashad 26 to ensure the safe physical transition of the locker systems.
