Mailung Khola Jal Vidhdyut Company Limited has already issued 3,68,144 unit shares. Locals of the project affected area of Rasuwa district got chance to take part in this IPO.
- 84,072 units were allocated to the most affected local people of Dadagau and Ramche
- 1,84,072 units were allocated to the less affected local people of Raswa District.
- 7,36,286 units will be allocated to the general public.
After the IPO issue, its paid-up capital will reach Rs 36.81 crore.
Previously the company was barred from issuing an IPO but SEBON has now approved the issue.
CARE Ratings Nepal Limited has assigned an issuer rating of ‘CARE-NP D (Is)’ to Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJV) considering the company to be in default (failing to repay a loan) or are expected to be in default soon.
